Can you help with listed building planning and design?

Yes. We have experience in Listed Planning Design, working with conservation officers, planning consultants, and architects to ensure proposals meet listed building requirements while supporting thoughtful Interior Renovations, particularly for historic properties across Bath, Bristol, London, and nearby areas.

What is the difference between Interior Design and Interior Architecture?

Interior Design focuses on furnishings, colours, materials, furniture and lighting.
Interior Architecture involves spatial planning, layouts, bespoke joinery, and architectural detailing. We combine both disciplines to create cohesive Luxury Interiors.

Do you offer interior renovation services?

Yes, we design and manage Interior Renovations for both period and contemporary homes, including Georgian townhouses and heritage properties, carefully balancing historic character with modern functionality.

We work with experienced and trusted trades teams, developed through years of collaboration, allowing us to deliver renovations to a high standard while helping to reduce the stress often associated with building projects. Throughout the process, we prioritise clear communication, transparent costing, and well-structured design and delivery stages so clients always understand how the project is progressing.

We also offer a flexible approach to client involvement. Some clients prefer us to fully manage the renovation, while others like to be more involved in decision making. Our process is designed to adapt to both, ensuring the project runs smoothly while delivering a carefully considered and beautifully finished interior.

When should I bring in an interior designer?

As early as possible. We believe that a strong synergy between architecture and interior design is key to creating truly successful spaces, so it’s never too early to involve an interior designer. Bringing a design team in before planning permission or any building work begins allows us to collaborate closely with architects and contractors to ensure the layout, lighting, and architectural details are configured in the most effective way.

A large part of our expertise lies in space planning, layout design, and architectural reconfiguration, helping to improve how a home flows and functions. This is particularly valuable for Georgian and listed properties, where thoughtful design is needed to balance historic character with modern living.

If your project is already underway, there is still plenty of scope to shape the design. Sharing key information such as floor plans, project timelines, and milestones for plumbing or electrical installation allows us to step in and help refine the layout, improve room flow, and maximise the potential of your space.

What is your interior design process?

Our process begins with an initial consultation or discovery meeting to understand your vision, lifestyle, budget, and the architectural context of the property. From there, we develop a concept design, including visualisation, layouts, and material palettes that establish the overall direction for the project.

Once the concept is approved, we move into design development, preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and costing documentation. We then coordinate with architects, contractors, and specialist suppliers to ensure the design is delivered accurately.

For renovation projects, we can also provide project management and build coordination, overseeing the renovation works and managing the ordering, delivery, and installation of furnishings, finishes, and bespoke elements. This ensures a smooth build process and a carefully delivered final interior.

Do you work on full-house projects or individual rooms?

We work on projects of all scales, from full turnkey interior renovations and architectural redesigns to phased room designs, including kitchens, living spaces, and bathrooms.

Can you give me a cost estimate?

As no two projects are alike, our interior design fees vary depending on project size and complexity. We offer fixed-fee packages for defined design scopes or hourly rates for more flexible work. After an initial call and site visit, we provide a detailed, tailored proposal.

Can you manage the renovation work?

Yes. Our studio can manage the full renovation and implementation process, offering a turnkey service from design through to completion. We collaborate closely with a network of trusted contractors, craftspeople, and specialist suppliers, coordinating renovation works and overseeing the ordering, delivery, and installation of furniture, materials, and finishes.

Through years of experience, we have developed strong relationships with reliable professionals, allowing us to deliver projects smoothly and to a consistently high standard. This ensures our clients receive a trusted, efficient, and carefully managed service from concept through to final installation.
